My two daughters are both coming out tonight and I'm so excited! My oldest is 22 and I'm picking her and her cattle dog Tigger up after work, then I'm picking up my youngest who is 14. Dropping the oldest and her dog off at the house and then it's off to 4-H with the youngest. Then back to the homefront. I cleaned up the backyard last night, planted my remaining mint plants (2 chocolate mint, YUM!, one apple mint, and one orange mint), put some wood in the fire pit, arranged the chairs just-so, and put out candles and incense. We should have a nice time just sitting around the fire this evening. I miss having my oldest living at home - she moved out at the beginning of May. And the youngest is only with me on the weekends, although I take her to see her horse one night during the week too. The moon garden is groomed up, the herbs are blossoming, and I'm thrilled! Blessings, everyone!

My lease is up at the end of August and I believe I will be moving into my Grandmother's house.  She's in a care facility and her house is vacant and in need of attention.  We've been cleaning and repairing since October of last year.  Such a huge project! 

I actually hate to move because I love my house and my town, and my Grandmother's is a LOT further away.  But even the increased gas $$ doesn't compete with $700 in rent and I'm BROKE and tired of it.  So I'm going to move in there and try to save some money.

The biggest drawback is that my youngest daughter really doesn't like the house.  She doesn't live with me full time, and I won't be moving in until the fall, but still...  I hate to make her miserable.  I'm hoping she'll understand that if I save some money maybe we can buy our own house next year and stop all this stupid renting crap.  (sigh) Sure hope she takes it well when I break the news to her.

Ah, this is one of the laziest Mother's Days I've spent in a long time! Rainy day here, spent it with my youngest daughter not doing much at all. I realized though when I logged in that I haven't put in a blog post in over a month now, so I figured I'd better say something. So I'm wishing a lovely Mother's Day to all Maids, Mothers, and Crones out there! Love and blessings!

Hurray!  The sun is shining today and at 8:00 tonight it's still 69 degrees!  Unfortunately, it will rain again this week, but today is beautiful!!!

As in I'm in a funk, and feeling really cranky!  Not happy at work, not happy at home, BLEAH! It makes me angry some days to be a nice person.  Can't decide if I'm nice or just wimpy.  Why can't I tell my boss it's not nice to give a coworker a nearly 10,000 a year raise last year, another coworker a raise this year, and then tell me they can't afford to give me a raise.  Give me a break.  I hate liars.  And why can't I tell my significant other that when you use my card to put gas in your truck it better be because you have no cash, not because you want to hoard your cash so you can go drink at night -- especially when I mentioned that I'm so broke that I'm nearly sick.  And I'm ready for some warmth.  I normally love winter, but I'm done this year.  I clean barn stalls every morning and I'm tired of being cold!  I repeat - BLEAH!!

Ok, I'm done grousing.  I see lots of good in life too, don't get me wrong.  I just need to vent every now and then when all that good is masked by tarnish.
