Here are a few shots of the snow fall around my house this weekend. This first shot was done by my youngest daughter when she hijacked my camera phone.

This one is looking out my living room window at an angle across my front porch.

You can see the tail end of the city salt truck going by in that one. This next one is out my side kitchen window where all the snow blew against the screen.

I can't begin to tell you all how ridiculously happy this snow fall makes me! I just love the snow, because after all, what good are the cold temperatures if you don't have pretty snow to look at?

Yep, it's my birthday. And I'm 43 years old today. Well, tonight technically, as I was born at 8:01 pm. Or 8:03, I can't remember - forgot to consult my watch when I hatched! Anyhow, I hear a lot of people (women especially) that don't want to say how old they are. But I've worked pretty hard to live this long and I'm going to claim every single year! And for some reason, this birthday more than any other has me very introspective about my position in life. Why do I work where I work? Why am I doing this job at my age? Why do I live where I live? Why are my finances such a wreck? Why am I so intent on EATING right now? Where do I WANT to be next year? Time to formulate a plan, I say. I intend to work for myself by this time next year. Or at least change so that I have a career and not just a job. I plan to have a nice savings account by this time next year. And to have a lot less clutter in my closets and in my life. Now that I have the intentions, I need to finish formulating the plan for how this all comes together. It's underway...
